FITNESS AND SNORKELLING ABILITY

Our snorkelling guide training and courses are immersive and focussed sessions of snorkelling and learning.

It’s therefore important that you are physically well, have a sufficient level of fitness, and are in good healthy condition to take full advantage of the training and education provided. Performing at your best for the duration of the course means firstly that you’ll be safe, and secondly you’ll make the most of your time and energy invested!

The minimum recommended snorkelling ability to attend the course is beginner to intermediate. However, keep in mind that you don’t have to perform anything that you consider beyond your abilities. You can always return to complete the practical skills sessions another time to demonstrate your abilities after practicing and refining them if you need to.
